Welcome

Lucy Whitman

I am a freelance writer, editor, trainer and consultant, with a special interest in dementia, and in the experiences of patients and family carers within the health and care system in the UK.

I also write and contribute to research and discussions on cultural history, especially the relationship between punk, feminism, anti-racism and anti-fascism in the 1970s and 1980s.

I have created two books about dementia, both published by Jessica Kingsley Publishers (www.jkp.com):

Telling Tales About Dementia: Experiences of Caring

People with Dementia Speak Out
